The Medical Residency Program Coordinator IV is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences residency program. The individual in this position is part of the residency program leadership team and is accountable to the physician Program Director. As well as, collaborates with the program director and other members of the leadership team, associate program director(s) and core faculty members. Program leadership activities include developing program policies, procedures, and processes that are compliant with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), medical specialty board, state medical licensure board, institutional, and departmental requirements and expectations. The Medical Residency Program Coordinator IV provides input to supervisor for the selection, training and supervision of all GME program staff (currently none); and the development and oversight of systems that track and maintain data as required for annual reporting.
The Program Coordinator must apply critical thinking to analyze and assess programmatic operations for continuous compliance and improvement. Recognize problems or situations that are new or without clear precedent and make decisions, in conjunction with direct supervisor,in the Program Director’s absence. Must evaluate alternatives and find solutions using critical thinking and a systematic approach.
This is a part time position scheduled for 20 hours per week.
Target Compensation Maximum:
$31.38Target Compensation Minimum:
$20.92Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
