Posting Summary
Assist in managing the daily operations of the CATcard Service Center. Perform administrative and business operations functions including financial management of budgets pertaining to general operations, college partners, off-campus vendors, closed circuit television activity, and the CAT$cratch debit account program. Develop departmental marketing strategies and oversee implementation. Serve as department HR representative. Report to CATcard Service Center Manager. Become generally familiar with all areas of department operation to enable oversight of department activities in Director’s absence. Actively engage in learning and practicing principles of social justice and inclusion, environmental sustainability and delivering effective customer service.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or finance and two to four years of related experience in budget building and management, report generation and analysis, and marketing required. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Effective supervisory, organizational, and analytical skills required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products to include Excel, Word, and Power Point required. Ability to demonstrate ongoing commitment to workplace diversity, sustainability and delivering effective customer service required
Desirable Qualifications
Anticipated Pay Range $60,000-$70,000
Other Information
Special Conditions Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
