Job Summary
The Department of Economics in the Davis College of Business and Economics at Radford University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Economics beginning August 2025. Responsibilities of faculty include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses; advising undergraduate students; participating in university governance and service; and publishing research in quality peer-reviewed journals. Primary teaching responsibilities will include principles of economics courses (micro/macro), intermediate economics courses (micro/macro), and applied courses in the applicant’s specialty. The Davis College of Business and Economics has a student body of approximately 900 undergraduates and approximately 100 graduate students (MBA).

The Assistant Professor position requires a Ph.D. in Economics; ABD’s will be considered.
Must be a qualified instructor per AACSB requirements as well as the standards of the Davis College of Business and Economics, defined as sustaining currency and relevance through scholarship and related activities.
