Position Information
The individual in this position is part of the Instructional Design Center team of the Learning and Applied Innovation unit, that supports NDSU’s instructional design, instructional technologies, and media services. This involves supporting faculty using instructional design and best practices to develop quality teaching methods and courses in face-to-face, online, blended, and hybrid learning environments, as well as researching, analyzing, designing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting instructional technology solutions. The individual in this position also helps design and implement training and assists with media projects for students, faculty and staff. Work Schedule: NDSU business hours: customarily, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Advertised Salary: $57,000+ commensurate with experience

Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree in instructional design or equivalent field (unofficial transcripts must be provided to show equivalent degree)
Demonstrated analytical/problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and participate in cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated clear written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated effective interpersonal skill
Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) and supporting LMS users.
Experience working in higher education
Faculty and/or staff development experience
Experience leading workshops and/or training sessions
Ability to plan, manage and organize multiple projects at a time
Ability to provide high level of customer service with a positive, energetic outlook
