Job Purpose
The College of Dental Medicine at the University of Sharjah is seeking a well-qualified candidate for a full-time position in Oral Surgery to start in the academic year 2024/2025.
The suitable applicant should have a proven record of teaching and research in his field, as the College develops its taught postgraduate education and forges a research excellency culture and aspires to be the leading dental school in the Gulf region.
Main accountabilities & expectations
The appointee shall deliver didactic lectures/seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Supervise the research work of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Start a productive research program in the Oral Surgery field.
The appointee will also participate and collaborate in multidisciplinary research in the College's Research Groups.
The appointee will also be involved in university and community services.
Required Skills
Ability to establish productive research projects in the field.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
BDS or DDS, and PhD or equivalent doctoral degree.
Postgraduate training and experience in Oral Surgery.
Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
Proven record of excellent research publications.
