Full-time, Muncie campus-based contract faculty member with appropriate nursing specialization to teach in undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Work assignments and locations vary. Title and salary dependent on qualification. This is not an online position.
The School of Nursing welcomes applications for three non-tenure line Assistant Clinical Lecturers or Assistant Clinical Professors. This opportunity is for in-person, on-site, on-campus, Muncie-based faculty positions that require BOTH a master’s degree in nursing and an active Indiana Registered Nurses license, without exception. This is not an exclusively online teaching opportunity.
Job Function:

Minimum Experience:
1. Earned baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
2. Earned master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university by date of appointment.
3. Clinical nursing experience in area of assigned teaching.
4. Ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
5. Ability to learn and use new technologies, software, and platforms.

Preferred Experience:
1. At least 4 months (one semester) of teaching experience in higher education, either gained concurrently or at any time.
2. Ability to integrate technology in nursing education.
3. Current clinical practice as an NP and national board certification.
4. Doctoral degree in nursing from an accredited college or university.
