Position Description:

The Temporary Web Designer will oversee all and implement all phases of design, layout, site mapping and some coding for departmental webpages in university web environment within a CMS. Knowledge of Drupal platform, multimedia manager, various digital toolkits and Adobe software needed.

This individual will be responsible for digital migration of content, conducting website and component testing, and some copywriting/editing. Additionally responsible for monitoring of content using Site. Improve and adherence to all federal compliance (ADA) regulations and university digital security strategies.

Ability to work in an academic setting, experience collaborating with programmers and demonstrated understanding of implementing technology projects necessary. Extra consideration given for proficiency working with university branding, Plone CMS and designing for digital teams using Figma.

This individual is critical to the resulting success for a specific university technology project.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
