The University of Louisville Business Operations Office is inviting applicants to apply for our Supervisor, Human Resource Administration position. The primary job duties will include overseeing the HR Departmental Support and the supervision of respective HR functional staff. The supervisor will focus on transactions primarily related to recruitment, personnel actions and payroll processing. This position is expected to coordinate the HR departmental support work of the functional area providing exemplary customer service and process efficiency. The supervisor is responsible for communicating functional staff progress, achievements and recommendations for improvement to the HR Manager. This position is expected to distribute work in an efficient and effective manner, while using metrics to guide continual improvement in this area. The supervisor will work with the manager on the reporting and data analysis of the HR department support functional area and is required to effectively implement the continuous improvement cycle and improve efficiency. The supervisor will work with the manager to identify scripts and templates for use by both functional and customer service teams. The supervisor will occasionally participate in Business Ops work groups, represent Business Ops during campus meetings, and direct focus groups as needed in a professional and consistent manner.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven ability to manage three (3) direct reports
Five (5) years of prior related work experience in business management or customer service
Knowledge of University HR business processes
Promote cooperation within team with other work areas
Share information, advise, and suggest, to help others
Ability to demonstrate concern for satisfying customers
Ability to identify information needed to clarify a situation
Strong oral and written communication skills
Target Compensation Maximum:
$77,600.00Target Compensation Minimum:
$51,700.00Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
