Position Description:

The Center for Predictive Medicine (CPM) is seeking a Financial Assistant II to team with the administrative staff on Health Sciences Center (HSC) Campus. The Financial Assistant II will provide financial and administrative support for members of the Center under the direction of the Director, Business Unit Administration. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with the ability to seek out information and solve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities could include:

  • Prepare and monitor requisitions, journal vouchers, and payment requests.

  • Complete ProCard and account reconciliations.

  • Review and update Archibus space management system.

  • Initiate and track PSCs, Department Agreements and Single and Sole Source Justification Forms.

  • Request quotes for maintenance and service agreements.

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of business standard operating procedures.

  • Assist with grant proposal submissions and post-award grant management.

  • Assist with preparation of administrative reports, departmental forms, and documents.

  • Assist with unit budget preparation.

  • Assist with event coordination, travel reservations and review of travel reimbursements.

  • Serve as backup to other administrative staff.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of BA, iRIS, Cayuse, PeopleSoft Financials, Workday and Microsoft Office products.

Knowledge of UofL administrative and financial policies and procedures.

Target Compensation Maximum:

$27.85

Target Compensation Minimum:

$18.56

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
