Summary

The Coordinator, Program Management supports the Texas Children's Cancer and Hematology Center's professional education and career development opportunities within the Division of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.

Job Duties

  • Coordinates all research and Advanced Practice Provider observers for the Cancer and Hematology Center (TXCH) providing support to up to over 50 research faculty, in addition to coordinating a weekly seminar series with invited speakers, and 6-8 conferences/annually.
  • Conference planning and coordination, Coordination of local visits for invited speakers for weekly seminar series and conferences to cultivate relationships amongst TXCH faculty and invited speakers.
  • Prepares and processes observer requests.
  • Submits expenses for reimbursement.
  • Manages domestic and international travel in the travel management system (Concur).
  • Composes formal and informal correspondence for donors, national and international observers.
  • Facilitates engagement with technology and trouble shoot throughout each seminar and conference.
  • Assists with the preparation of philanthropic stewardship reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Two years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Experience in an academic setting preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
