The Department of Economics at Bowling Green State University invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2025. This opening is for candidates specializing in macroeconomics, money & banking, and time series econometrics. This position is for 9 months per year.
The Department of Economics is housed in the Schmidthorst College of Business and supports undergraduate programs in business, economics, as well as a masters of arts in financial economics.

Essential Functions

Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Economics (or ABD with degree completion by August 2025).
A successful candidate is expected to have demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and research.
Preferred Qualifications
A strongly preferred qualification is a documented record of effective teaching at the university level as evidenced through a statement of teaching philosophy and teaching evaluations.
