The University of Louisville is seeking an IT Systems Analyst V (IT Workday Strategic Sourcing Support Analyst). Participate in active Workday Strategic Sourcing implementation as IT Subject Matter Expert. Partner with customers to analyze, design, test, implement, and maintain Workday Strategic Sourcing solutions. Provide project support as needed to areas within Strategic Sourcing and other relevant business areas as needed. Provide advanced analysis of business data and offer detailed analysis and solutions that can be acted upon. Support Strategic Sourcing/Procurement staff regarding issues related to the procurement mission, vision, and policies and/or resource allocation as it relates to Workday. Partner with others in the organization to interpret and manage business reports and analysis in an effort to identify area for improvement and document and implement recommended changes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide design, configuration, and troubleshooting services (functional and technical) for Workday Strategic Sourcing solution.
Provide troubleshooting support for functional and technical production issues, unexpected results and process flaws including coordinating with Workday using their case management system.
Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to optimize business processes (including Workflow/security).
Collaborate with functional stakeholders to build reporting (basic and advance calc fields/all reporting types).
Assist in researching new capabilities within Workday.
Support regression testing and introduction of required changes as new Workday releases are introduced.
Assist in the design and configuration of new Workday enhancements as they are made available with each new release.
Develop the expertise in the departmental use of Workday Strategic Sourcing and serve as the point of contact for end users on proposed process and application changes.
Consult with customers to conduct analysis on Strategic Sourcing business processes to help identify needs and facilitate finding solutions to those needs.
Proactively identify customer strength and weaknesses and suggest areas of business process improvement.
Propose solutions to Strategic Sourcing problems and consider timeliness, effectiveness, and practicality in addressing customer needs.
Identify potential process improvements through data analysis that identifies inefficiencies, redundancy, and unleveraged system functionality.
Coordinate the testing of maintenance and new functionality with business units.
Prepare detailed systems documentation.
Collaborate with business intelligence staff to ensure that reporting needs are included in system design and assists with the development and review of new reports and dashboards.
Continuously increases technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Workday Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, voting, training, webinars, etc.
