Seeking a skilled Biostatistician to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with Ph.D. level statisticians and PIs to specify and analyze projects, conduct independent statistical analyses, generate reports, develop analysis plans, assist in software development, and serve as a resource for divisional statisticians and staff.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Collaborates on research projects, assisting with statistical analyses, grant, and manuscript preparation.
- Ensures data quality and provides leadership in summarizing results and methods.
- Develops and manages databases, overseeing data entry, quality, and reporting facilities.
- Trains and assists in orienting new statistical staff.
- Monitors project progress and maintains division records and files.
- Documents computer programs and electronic databases.
- Engages in professional development activities and attends meetings as required.
Your qualifications should include:
• Master's in statistics, biostatistics, or related field
• 3-5 years biostatistical consulting and analysis experience
• Proficient in statistical software like SAS, Splus, R, SQL
• Experience can substitute for educational requirements
Pay rate: $43.17 - $66.92
