What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking a Microelectronics/Photolithography Equipment Maintenance Technologist with experience as a Field Service Engineer, Maintenance or Engineering Technologist supporting Photolithography toolsets in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

On any given day, you may be called on to:

  • Perform standard maintenance (Daily, Weekly, Monthly) in support of Nikon and ASML Photolithography semiconductor processing equipment and FSI and TEL coat track systems.
  • Lead tool and system installations, system upgrades and system removal from service/de-installation.
  • Complete Preventative and Corrective Maintenance tasks; document work completed in pass down and maintenance tracking systems.
  • Lead system calibrations, wafer handling, liquid chemical delivery, AC and DC power, electromechanical systems, automated control systems, facilities subsystem maintenance.
  • Lead and participate in structured troubleshooting methods to quickly resolve issues and identify root cause.
  • Identify and implement area and system upgrades and improvements to continuously improve the Lithography area equipment performance.
  • Be an integral member of a Preventative Maintenance Improvement Team redlining and implementing checklists, reviewing Green To Green and MTTF data to Improve module performance
  • Analyze data and recommend modifications to components or test procedures to meet desired specifications.
  • Develop relationships with equipment vendors; initiate and coordinate equipment support contracts and supervise the work of vendor equipment support personnel.

This role may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift depending on the Factory needs. The two shifts cover hours of operation Monday through Friday. Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.

Salary Range:

$70,200 - $135,400

*Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.

Qualifications We Require:

  • Associates degree in a relevant STEM field plus five (5) years directly related technical experience supporting semiconductor processing equipment
  • or equivalent experience (9 years' experience)
  • Skills and abilities with hands-on work activities – using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, meters etc.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a DOE L clearance

Qualifications We Desire:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field
  • Experience supporting Photo Lithography semiconductor processing equipment
  • Direct experience working on supporting ASML, Nikon, TEL, FSI Photolithography equipment
  • Project manage and collaborate with internal and external customers and vendors
  • Read and understand tool schematics and manuals
  • Experience with and interest in working with electro-mechanical systems
  • Familiarity with all safety requirements relevant to semiconductor equipment work (e.g., lock out tag out, pressure and electrical safety, chemical safety)
  • Strong oral, written, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, including the ability to collaborate well in a diverse team environment and develop positive relationships

About Our Team:

Our department develops and maintains core semiconductor processing capabilities and capacity that enable our customers to build differentiating Microsystems products. We support the operations of the 11,900 square foot Class 1 Silicon Fab for 6-inch silicon wafer processing. The Silicon Fab has processing expertise in both CMOS and MEMS technologies. Over 150 equipment sets are maintained, supported and operated 24 hours per day, 5 days a week (3 shifts). Both processing and maintenance expertise are staffed on all 3 shifts. We offer unique prototyping capabilities. We are capable of producing full flow production lots with quick turnaround time as well as performing flexible process development.
