Qualifications:
Calculus I covers limits, continuity, mathematical reasoning, the derivative, applications of the derivative, antiderivatives and the integral. This course is designed for students majoring in the life sciences, health sciences, business administration, psychology and accounting. This is a 4 unit undergraduate course.
This course will be taught in person on the Moraga campus during the 2025 Spring term on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 12:05 - 1:10 pm.
In addition to teaching, the instructor is expected to hold regular office hours (a minimum of one hour per week) in order to provide students with support outside of the classroom.
The successful candidate will hold an advanced degree in Mathematics or closely related field. Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. Preference will be given to those who have previously taught the course or Math 027.
Candidates must reside in California.
The salary range for this position is $9,932 - $13,744 (4 units) and is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
