To thrive in this role, the ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage both personnel and fiscal resources effectively. Experience in K-12 and higher education is essential. A strong understanding of accreditation processes is critical, along with the ability to navigate complex and changing educational policies at the state and national levels. Success in this role requires excellent communication and public speaking skills, a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

Earned doctorate/terminal degree in education or a related field from an accredited institution.
Minimum of three years of certificated work experience in public K12 schools.
Minimum of three years experience working in a higher education context.

Position Details:

This is a full-time, Exempt Senior Administrator staff position complete with both a competitive salary and https://www.alaska.edu/hr/benefits/support/prospectiveemployees.php.
