The Department of Chemistry, Biology, and Health Sciences at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology is seeking a full-time, benefited, 9-month, term Lecturer or Senior Lecturer to support the ACS approved Chemistry program starting August 2025.
Primary responsibilities will include teaching Organic Chemistry Laboratory/Lecture courses. The position will also provide opportunities to teach other courses in their area of expertise and to collaborate with other faculty in outreach and pedagogical innovations.
A PhD in Chemistry or a related field is required. The successful candidate is expected to have a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and to participate in curriculum development, student advising, and service to the department and university.
