Description of Duties and Tasks
- Proctor online exams.
- Troubleshoot technical issues students may experience.
- Monitor students, documents and report abnormalities.
- Perform office duties in support of faculty, staff, and/or student efforts, including sending emails, data entry, and maintaining files.
- Gather, compile, and enter data, producing routine reports and documents.
- Maintain tracking systems and logs.
- Instruct students on how to use video conferencing platforms.
Knowledge
- Office procedures and practices.
- Customer service techniques.
Skills
- Maintaining confidentiality of work-related information and materials.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Maintaining an established work schedule.
- Effectively using interpersonal and communication skills.
- Effectively using organizational and planning skills.
- Entering data, maintaining files, and performing other clerical duties.
- Effective customer orientation when working with a diverse population.
Technology Skills
- Must be able to troubleshoot basic technology issues.
- Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software.
Required Work Experience
- Experience using video conferencing platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues.
Required Work Equipment
- Must have reliable internet.
- Must have a computer.
Physical Requirements
- Work is routinely performed in a standard office or similar environment.
- Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
- Occasional lifting of objects up to 10 pounds.
Safety
- Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
Hours
- Various shifts available during the day, evenings, and weekends.
Pay Rate
$23.00/hour
