Position Purpose
The Financial Operations Coordinator supports the daily financial and budgetary operations for assigned departments and funding sources. Working closely with the Finance Center team, this role assists in financial reporting, data management, and compliance, contributing to the accuracy and integrity of financial information. The Coordinator provides essential support to ensure efficient financial processes and customer service to the Dartmouth community.

Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field,
or equivalent experience.
Experience:
1-3 years of experience in a finance, accounting, or administrative role.
Basic understanding of financial reporting, data management, and reconciliation.
Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word) and comfortable using financial software tools.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a higher education or non-profit setting is helpful but not required.
