Job Description

The Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a continuing-track (non-tenure track) position in Operations Management, which is an expanding area whose growth is fueled by increased interest in data-based analytics and decision making.



Candidates must possess a PhD in operations management or a related field or be ABD with completion expected by fall 2025 and should be well-qualified to design and teach Operations Management and Business Analytics courses. Successful candidates will exhibit the ambition and vision to develop a cutting-edge, innovative instructional program while maintaining a commitment to scholarly research. The teaching load consists of six courses per academic year. This is a permanent position, with contract renewals that increase in length over time—starting with two years and extending to five-year terms. While there is no mandatory promotion requirement, opportunities for rank advancement are available.
