USCB invites applications for a full time, professional-track position at the rank of Instructor. The position is a 11-month appointment with a total teaching load of 10 courses across three academic semesters per year. Teaching duties are expected to be reassigned to Program Specialist to assist with USCB’s Center for Human Services Evaluation (CHSE) evaluation project for the Southeast Regional Food Business Center (RFBC).
The Program Specialist is expected to excel at organizing, coordinating, and facilitating the operations to measure and track program effectiveness. The program specialist has managerial responsibilities with student-workers collaborating with the evaluation team and communication responsibilities with stakeholders. Responsibilities include support to the Lead Evaluator at CHSE and other duties as assigned.
This is an annual appointment with five years of federal funding that may be renewed contingent upon approval, satisfactory performance, departmental needs, and the availability of funding.

Required Certification, Licensure/Other Credentials
Preferred Qualifications
Curriculum and Instruction, Human Services specialization preferred).
Three years of successful previous professional experience
Experience in program development and/or implementation of evaluation methods.
Research specialization related to Human Services, Agriculture, Public Health, Evaluation & Measurement preferred.
Knowledge of diverse languages is preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Teach courses in human services for undergraduate students, including human services and experiential learning courses.
Provide student assistance, including mentoring and academic advising, as well as offering office hours.
Develop and revise evaluation procedures and tools based on industry best practices.
Operationalize & direct evaluation strategies and plans.
Assist with the production and completion of evaluation reports, including data visualization, and collection.
Assist with maintaining operations of the Center for Human Services Evaluation
Perform outreach activities with the community including, but not limited to, professional development, mission alignment, serving as a university-community liaison for opportunities and initiatives.
Participate in relevant recruitment, retention, & mentoring activities, professional development, and university service. Collaborate with counterparts, students, supervisors, university officials, and community members to achieve the mission of the University.
