Baylor College of Medicine at The Children\'s Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a faculty member to fill a Full-time position in the Department of Pediatrics, Section of Gastroenterology. This position comes with a faculty appointment within the Department of Pediatrics, a competitive salary, and full benefits package.

Physicians in the Section of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition treat children suffering from a wide range of intestinal, liver, pancreatic and nutritional disorders and will also provide out-patient clinical care, in- patient coverage and in-patient consultation at CH of SA.

Job Duties

  • Outpatient clinical care for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.
  • Inpatient care, consultation, and emergency room consultation for children with all types of intestinal, hepatic, pancreatic and nutritional disorders.
  • General pediatric gastrointestinal procedures (e.g., upper endoscopy and colonoscopy with related therapeutic procedures).

Minimum Qualifications

  • M.D., Ph.D. / M.D. / D.O. degree, or equivalent
  • Completion of an ACGME approved fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology (or equivalent)
  • Licensed by the Texas Medical Board
  • Board Certification by the American Board of Pediatrics, subspecialty certification in pediatric gastroenterology medicine (or eligible for same)
