The successful candidate:
Hours: 4 shifts per week 8:00am - 5:30pm
No weekends, No Holidays!
The Patient Care Technician is a paraprofessional caregiver under the guidance and supervision of a registered nurse. Assumes responsibility and accountability for activities of daily living, certain tests and procedures, environmental duties and other tasks as designated by his/her competency level. The PCT provide care for the age groups as defined in the scope of care.
They will perform administrative duties assigned by the Manager to facilitate the care of patients. The Patient Care Technician performs all responsibilities in accordance with all policy and procedure guidelines.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Listed in good standing on Illinois Healthcare Worker Registry
CPR card required

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $17.51 - $24.87 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
