Job Description
Summary
The primary purpose of the Laboratory Helper is to carry out various supervised duties as it relates to laboratory support.This position is an outstanding opportunity for career development for recent graduates and/or medical students interested in biomedical research and/or future advanced degree training in the biomedical sciences or medicine.
Job Duties
- Cleanslaboratory equipment, instruments and areas such as the autoclave, glassware.
- Prepares standard solutions and simple culture media.
- Assists in basic laboratory research, that includescell culture and treatment, gene expression and protein assays.
- Learns and becomes familiar with lab activities, Supports maintenance and assisting as well.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED.
- No experience required.
