Job Description
Sarah Lawrence College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position with a start date of fall 2025. We seek candidates whose research and teaching interests are in Digital Media Arts. We are especially interested in applicants who specialize in any one or more of the following areas: Digital Humanities, Digital Media and Activism; Queer and Trans Studies; Electronic Literature; Media History/Archaeology.
This position will be located within Global Studies, and we encourage applications from individuals with interdisciplinary backgrounds and with specializations outside of the U.S. We also welcome candidates with practical experience relevant to the position to apply.
Applications should include the following: Cover letter, curriculum vitae; statement of teaching philosophy; two sample undergraduate syllabi relevant to the position; a sample of scholarly work; and three letters of reference.
Compensation listed for this position is for a full-time tenure-track faculty position and will be contingent on teaching experience.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Media Studies or an interdisciplinary program that has strong intersections with the discipline.
Salary
$70,000 to $85,000
