Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for full-time, tenure track faculty positions as Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Security (Cybersecurity) in the Department of Information Systems and Security with a preferred start date of August 2025. These are nine-month contracted positions. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities
Teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate level in the technical aspects of cybersecurity. Examples of courses include network security, client and server systems security, and cloud security.
Research and scholarship in the area of expertise, and professional service to the Department, College, and University.
The standard teaching load is 3/3 but is negotiable and can be reduced to 3/2 or 2/2 based on research productivity. Coles College flexibly allows summer support for new faculty for up to 3 years.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.


Required Qualifications
A Doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Management Science or a related discipline, is required.

NOTE: For ABDs: Required degree must be earned by start date.


Preferred Qualifications
A doctorate degree, or the foreign equivalent, earned from an AACSB accredited college/school.
Record of prior teaching experience (in-person, online, or hybrid courses).
Documentation of technical skills in cybersecurity.
Record of research accomplishments.
Willingness to serve the needs of the department.
