Job Function:

Provide supervision of students and assist in the daily routines of the school.

Minimum Education:

2 years of education beyond High School.

Preferred Education:

Some college experience or related degree.

Minimum Experience:

Experience working with children.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow the lesson plan left by the teacher in accordance with district's philosophy, goals and objectives.
  • Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the designated times.
  • Establish and maintain order in the classroom.
  • Maintain a classroom environment conducive to effective learning.
  • Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, materials, equipment, and facilities.
  • Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules and administrative regulations.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the principal.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
