Job Summary
Under limited supervision provides secretarial and general administrative support to the Associate Dean, Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of post high school education totaling at least 60 completed credit hours.
Two (2) years of related, paid, full-time work experience in an office administration environment.

Trade-off 1:1 in experience/education requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Banner or related platform.
Experience working in an educational environment.
Experience working at a community college.
Experience working in an executive office support position.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
Compile reports and meeting minutes.
Work with and safeguard confidential information related to department.
Knowledge of accounting and preparing budgets.
Review documents for compliance with accrediting and standards body.
Ability to work in a fast-paced demanding environment and have the ability to multitask quickly and efficiently.
Knowledge of general office procedures and methods (including using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet).
Good communication, human relation, and customer service skills to relate with a variety of people.
Follow written and oral instructions effectively.
Provide technical assistance to faculty on matters related to documentation of accreditation, standards and procedures.
Gather and organize data for accreditation reports with assistance of the Associate Dean.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.
