Job Purpose
Support the Vice President for Enrollment and Communication by taking leadership roles in university communication to stay in compliance with state and federal requirements. Serve as an active ambassador and representative of the university with local and regional leaders and promote university level initiatives, including Rural Reimagined.

Essential Functions
Serve as university designated Public Records Request Coordinator and university level reviewer for major publications and websites. Support Rural Reimagined Grand Challenge and represent the university in official capacity with local and regional business owners through Chamber activities. Oversee President’s Ambassadors. Oversee Office of Communications and Marketing policy creation, review and maintenance.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Three years of related professional experience. Proficient in software such as MS Office. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a diverse group of students, faculty, staff and administrators. Excellent oral and written communication. Excellent organization skills. Experience in project management. Knowledge of best practices for customer service.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Communications, Writing, etc. Experience in Communications or Public Relations.
Work Hours
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Additional hours if/when needed.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Commensurate with education and experience.
