This seminar develops the skills of critical thinking, critical reading and writing, and shared inquiry. Learners read, write about, and discuss a selection of texts that have shaped the thoughts and imagination of the Western World, reflecting critically on important ideas and learning to cultivate habits of careful and disciplined reading.
The BALOS Department at Saint Mary’s College seeks to hire a per-course adjunct to teach an upper division seminar course. Salary: $6,480-$10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, available here.
