Job Description

Sarah Lawrence College is seeking a bright and motivated individual to support the launch of new innovative programs as an Assistant Director of New Technologies. We are seeking someone who is excited to be a system administrator, supporting a new platform and helping project manage new offerings in a group that is transforming the College's business model: New Educational Ventures.

Essential Duties Summary


Job Responsibilities

Work in partnership with the Director of Strategic Implementation to support New Educational Ventures projects, with a specific focus on IT systems implementation, support and ongoing administration.

• Support the College's non-credit-bearing program leaders with the launch of a new learning management system and registration platform: Thinkific
• Use data APIs to extract and integrate data from various sources
• Work with cloud-based systems and third party applications
• Maneuver workforce automation programs and tools
• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preparation for analysis
• Help develop and maintain program website pages
• Establish and manage platform integrations, as needed
• Update content and templates, as needed
• Support staff and instructors during the launch and as questions arise by email or phone, as needed
• Provide regular assessment of how systems are working for the needs of the College's new initiatives and make recommendations as necessary for adjustments or optimization
• Coordinate with Finance and Program offices on all financial reconciliation from systems

• Project Management & cross-functional implementation support
• Understand and prioritize program requirements and priorities
• Lead team to implementation
• Effectively identify and escalate issues as necessary for timely resolution
• Track progress against deadlines
• Aid with change management
• Communicate progress, challenges and next steps to leadership

• Special Projects
• Assist in special projects as they arise (e.g., grant writing, research)

Required Qualifications

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
• Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Kajabi, Teachable, Thinkific, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and data analysis tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferred
• Exposure to programming languages, preferred
• Experience in managing IT platforms, preferred
• Ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization and perform in a broad range of environments including academic and business
• Experience building and managing multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications


Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
