City of Hope is seeking aResearch Associate II to join the Dr. Robert Jenq Lab.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Conducts routine and non-routine lexperiments, recording and validating results.
- Troubleshoots and recommends alternative procedures for unsatisfactory results.
- Accurately records work, calculates, compiles, and analyzes data.
- Evaluates research data and suggests improvements, trains staff in specialized procedures and concepts.
- Assists in manuscript preparation by detailing methods and techniques; stays updated on new techniques.
- Ensures compliance with safety procedures for handling hazardous materials.
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field, with 2 years of post-degree research experience, or 1 year with a Master’s degree
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy in lab work, and robust record-keeping skills

Salary / Pay Rate Information:
Pay Rate: $32.00 - $49.60 / hour
The estimated pay scale represents the typical [salary/hourly] range City of Hope reasonably expects to pay for this position, with offers determined based on several factors which may include, but not be limited to, the candidate’s experience, expertise, skills, education, job scope, training, internal equity, geography/market, etc. This pay scale is subject to change from time to time.
