Salary : Grade 8 (£45,585 - 54,395 p.a. depending on experience) 

This role will be based on the university campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner.   We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

Based within the Research & Innovation Service (RIS), the postholder will play a pivotal role in ensuring excellent standards of research quality across the University of Leeds. You will engage with colleagues across all Faculties and professional services to capture and evaluate high-quality research outputs arising from the University’s research. Working for the Head of Research Quality and Impact, and guided by the Dean for Research Quality, you will use data analysis to support delivery of the University’s ten-year strategy, Universal Values, Global Change. 

You will also play an important role in preparing the University’s next submission to REF2029, with a particular focus on the provision and utilisation of data to evaluate and evidence the excellence of our research outputs and our research environment. 

You will have extensive experience of project management at a strategic and operational level, with a proven track record of coordinating large-scale, complex projects with multiple components and individuals involved. You'll also have a detailed knowledge of the Research Excellence Framework, across all elements of the submission. You'll be highly organised and be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership, negotiation and facilitation skills.
