Job Description

Summary

The Staff Scientist will support our NIH grant application and NIH-funded research; will provide scientific and technical advices. Responsible for advising research in vascular biology, such as angiogenesis, vascular signaling and developing novel anti-angiogenic therapy.  This is a part-time position.

Job Duties

  • Project design
  • Experimental design
  • Result interpretation
  • Review and edit grant applications
  • Review and edit research reports
  • Review and edit manuscripts

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctoral Degree. Experience may not be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • Three years of post doctoral research experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with successfully obtaining NIH grants
  • Track record of publications in vascular biology and angiogenesis research
