Moraga Campus
An exploration of the global manager's environment, which includes the cultural context of global management, formulating and implementing strategy for international and global operations, and global human resources management. The course helps students to develop a global vision and global management abilities at the organizational, strategic, and interpersonal level. Topics include cross-cultural management, global human resource management, global workforce planning (people, mobility), developing and managing global competencies (people and processes), and labor relations policies and management.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. degree in Strategy or Entrepreneurship or a closely related field and a recent publication record in the field, OR
- A Master’s degree in Strategy or Entrepreneurship or a closely related field and five years of current, relevant professional experience.
- Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.
- Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, who have previously taught the course or BUSAD 180, available here.
