Sightline is seeking an IT Project Manager, Sightline who will be primarily responsible for managing and reporting on all aspects of the Sightline software project team implementations.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Serves as the primary point of contact for all of the following activities across shared project teams within Sightline.
Facilitating the sharing of resources, tools, methodologies, techniques.
Enabling consistent use of policies, procedures, templates.
Implementing/managing dashboards/scorecards.
Communicating strategic work/progress (escalations, risks, benefits).
Interfacing with functional teams (Finance, Sponsored, HR, Payroll, Supply Chain, etc.).
Advising/supporting senior management as needed.
Acts with no supervision when managing the collaboration across functional and technical workstreams.
Specific Devices, Software, Projects
Position will execute work in a number of resources, some internal to Johns Hopkins and others as provided by outside consultants. These may include, but are not limited to Smartsheet, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Vizio, PowerPoint.
Scale/Size of Area, Project and/or System Supported
Supports the implementation of a full suite of ERP products spanning Supply Chain, Finance, Sponsored Projects, HR, Payroll.
Supports the entire landscape of Johns Hopkins including the University, Health Systems, and all affiliates, the exception being APL.
Interacts regularly with functional staff, technical staff, change management teams, training teams.
Special Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSA's)
Must demonstrate strong critical thinking and analytical reasoning skills.
Ability to work on multiple priorities effectively.
Ability to prioritize conflicting demands.
Must be well organized and detail oriented.
Ability to lead technical and business colleagues via influence and without authority.
Strategic business acumen and understanding of organization strategy, with an ability to design information systems to fulfill that strategy.
Experienced in assessing a broad range of information solutions and products.
Ability to prioritize conflicting demands.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences.
Experience working with and delivering clear presentations to senior IT and institutional leadership.
Self-starter with the ability to appropriately prioritize and plan complex work in a rapidly changing environment.
Results oriented with ability to produce products that deliver organizational benefits.
Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
Team player with experience leading and collaborating cross-team to ensure successful delivery of solutions.
Knowledge of applicable methodologies, including enterprise architecture and common IT Infrastructure components.
Proven success on meeting project deadlines and timelines.
Supervisory Responsibility
Position will not have any direct reports but will be responsible for Project Management of a distributed set of teams, each with their Project Managers (up to 10 teams representing the work of up to 50-70+ internal staff).
Collaboration with external consultants is also required.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree.
Five years of IT experience, with some project management experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications
Expert user of Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Vizio, JIRA, Confluence.
PMP certification.
