Moraga Campus
This course introduces students to the basic structure of financial accounting. Topics include the accounting model, the adjustment process, accounting for elements of the income statement and balance sheet, statement of cash flows, and interpretations of financial statements. The course presents both a preparer’s as well as a user’s perspective.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have a Master's or Ph.D. preferred in a relevant area of Accounting discipline.
Candidates should have a successful record of teaching experience at the undergraduate level and experience/familiarity with online/hybrid instruction in order to prepare for contingencies. This position requires all course work to be performed in the state of California. Candidates must perform all course-related work within the state of California.
Salary: $6,480 and $10,308 dependent on qualifications. The salary range for this position is covered by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the College and SEIU, Local 1021, who have previously taught the course or ACCTG 001, available here.
