Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
The Debbie and Jerry Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University in Ames, IA is now accepting applications for a Teaching Professor (rank will be dependent on experience and qualifications - Lecturer/Assistant/Associate/Professor) to teach full/part-time at the undergraduate level within the Marketing Department. Primary courses to be taught include, but are not limited to: Foundation of Sales, Sales Management, and or Advanced Sales classes. Additional responsibilities include: participating in department service activities, advising undergraduate students, and interacting with industry partners. Possibility of organizing/traveling with students to sales competitions also exists.

The successful candidate will be able to deliver course materials through a number of delivery modes (online, hybrid, in-person). The position will start in Fall 2024.

Required Minimum Qualifications:

- Master’s degree in Business, or a Master’s degree in a related field and Professional Sales experience
- Must meet the college’s faculty qualification standards for AACSB Accreditation

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience teaching university level sales, marketing or related courses
- Professional selling or Sales management experience of 7 years or more

- Experience leading or contributing to a sales center at a University
