The School of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds is globally renowned for its teaching and research, ranked 1st in the Guardian university league tables 2018. Our laboratory technicians play a vital role in supporting academics, researchers and students, and have the opportunity to be involved in ground-breaking projects.

We are looking for a professional and proactive individual to join our team and support research, teaching and general activities within our Thermofluids laboratories. You will hold a BTEC level 4, a HNC or an apprenticeship in a Mechanical/ Electrical engineering discipline, OR have equivalent practical work experience. You will also have good knowledge of mechanical assembly practices and experience of manufacturing components.

We are open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
