Job Purpose
Reporting to the CIO, the Senior Data Analyst will work to develop an extensible data infrastructure to support campus-wide decision-making, partnering with Institutional Research and Enrollment Planning.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Math, or a related field and five years of applicable experience in data analysis and warehousing is required. A Master’s degree is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of experience and/or education are encouraged to apply.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required Skills:
· Understanding of data lake management.
· Experience with SQL, Python, R, SAS, SPSS, or other relevant programming and statistical languages.
· Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Evisions Argos, and/or Ellucian Insights.
· Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and/or data integration techniques.
· Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:
· Proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes, and/or data integration techniques.
· Experience with cloud-based data warehousing and data lake solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Data Lake).
· Understanding data analysis techniques like machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
· Knowledge of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or similar.
