Major responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate and graduate level design studios as well as support courses in one or more of the following areas: architectural programming; research methods; architectural building technology (methods and materials of architectural construction); environmental systems (passive and active systems; structures; building systems integration; site design; history and theory of urban design

Job Function:

The Department of Architecture at Ball State University seeks applicants for a one-year full-time contract faculty positions for the academic year 2024-25, starting August 16, 2024.

Minimum Experience:

Master of Architecture degree or a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a Master’s degree in an allied discipline.



Preferred Experience:

Professional degree in architecture (Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture); demonstrated ability to teach design studio and related courses in a professional degree program; professional license in architecture or a PhD; professional practice experience; evidence of outstanding design skills and excellence in architectural design work; evidence of contributions to the profession; evidence of the potential for teaching excellence; evidence of the potential for quality scholarship.
