Summary
This position is responsible for the recruitment of graduate students and the operations aspects of the executive graduate programs in the Schmidthorst College of Business. The individual will coordinate with the faculty program coordinators, associate deans, dean, and other campus partners to support the marketing, recruitment, and day-to-day operations of the business graduate programs, with their primary focus being on the executive graduate programs.

Essential Functions
Student Recruitment: Collaborate with the Graduate College, Graduate admissions team, EMOD program coordinator, DODC program coordinator, and Associate Dean responsible for graduate programs to develop and implement a comprehensive recruitment and yield strategy for the EMOD and DODC programs in the Schmidthorst College of Business. Development of this strategy will include an in-depth analysis of historical data to determine strategy, goals, and objectives. This data will be used to craft initiatives throughout the calendar year that will work to meet enrollment goals.
Recruitment-Focused Promotion: Collaborate with the Graduate College, EMOD program coordinator, DODC program coordinator, and Associate Dean responsible for graduate programs to plan, budget, and implement promotional activities such as advertising campaigns, recruitment events, conferences, and industry forums to promote the program and expand its reach. events at regional and national levels that can directly enhance awareness and interest in EMOD and DODC and stimulate student recruitment. Consult with campus partners such as Office of Marketing and Brand Strategy to ensure synergy with BGSU’s overall marketing and branding objectives. (20%)
Student Recruitment Support: Communicate, counsel, support and guide students through the executive program search, application, enrollment, progress, and graduation processes, ensuring that they meet the program's criteria and standards. These tasks will be completed through individual student appointments and communication, internal and external events, group presentations, and multi-platform marketing campaigns.
Residency and Abroad Sessions: Coordinate the operations of residency class sessions (weekends) and international experiences for the graduate executive programs in consultation with the EMOD program coordinator, DODC program coordinator, and Associate Dean responsible for graduate programs. Collaborate with the Assistant Director- Graduate Executive and Specialty Master’s programs to ensure all materials, catering, and other items are available. This includes being available to work on weekends (6-10 per year) through flexible definitions of work week hours.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including alumni, corporate partners, industry leaders, and academic institutions. Collaborate with the College’s Communications and Events Specialist and campus partners such as Office of Marketing and Brand Strategy as well as external partners to enhance the program's reputation and visibility. This includes developing and implementing media outreach strategies and campaigns that generate favorable coverage for the EMOD and DODC programs by showcasing the various accomplishments of the EMOD and DODC faculty members and students, thereby demonstrating the Schmidthorst College of Business’s positive contributions to graduate education and economic and cultural vitality.
Assurance of Learning and Continuous Improvement: Support the EMOD and DODC program coordinators as they monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the executive programs through data analysis, student feedback, and benchmarking against peer institutions, and implement and improvements to enhance program quality and outcomes. Lead the data collection and summary processes in collaboration with the Assistant Director - Graduate Executive and Specialty Master’s programs.
Inclusion and Belonging: Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging within the EMOD and DODC programs and foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students, faculty, and staff.
Strategic Projects: Support the planning and execution of other strategic projects as needed by the Graduate College, EMOD program coordinator, DODC program coordinator, and Associate Dean responsible for graduate programs related to the needs of Schmidthorst graduate programs.
Supervisory: Collaborate with the Associate Dean – Graduate Programs and Faculty Affairs to supervise the Assistant Director – Graduate Executive and Specialty Master’s programs. Including mentoring, workload planning, professional development, and annual evaluations as it pertains to graduate executive programs. Hire, train, assign, and supervise student workers supporting residency weekends or other projects for the Graduate Office, as needed. Provide daily feedback and support for enhanced productivity and student experience.

Minimum Qualifications
The following Degree is required:

Master's Degree. Degree must be conferred at time of application.
One of The following Experiences is required:

2 years or more of academic administration, preferably with graduate/professional programs

OR

2 years or more student recruitment and advising

Additional Information
