Assist the Vice Chancellor of College Relations & Marketing with all aspects of student communications and marketing, including research, plan development and implementation, testing, and administrative support.Job Description:
Duties
Assists in the development of communication and marketing strategies targeting current and prospective students.
Conducts research and data collection to help identify effective messages and channels of communication.
Works closely with members of the Office of College Relations & Marketing and serves as a liaison with student groups and organizations.
Assist with content development and copywriting of marketing collateral, including handouts, digital signage, social media posts, and web content.
Knowledge
Principles and practices of effective copywriting and content writing
Strong understanding of public speaking
Project management
Familiarity with the ACC student experience
Interest in web U/X and digital media
Skills
Follows brand standards and style guidelines while providing a fresh perspective on how to reach students.
Works independently and within a team while meeting established deadlines.
Detailed-oriented, organized, and possesses excellent grasp of analytical skills.
Passion and desire for learning and a proactive energy for getting things done.
Technology Skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
Required Experience
Pursuing an associate degree or certificate
One year of marketing or communications experience is preferred
Physical Requirements
Work is routinely performed in a standard office or similar environment.
May be required to visit campuses.
Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.
Schedule Needs
Work at Highland Campus/hybrid
Hours are flexible; 10-13 hours a week, typically Monday - Friday
Pay Rate
$22.00/hour
