The Department of Rehabilitative & Reconstructive Dentistry at the University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time faculty position at the Richard L. Miller Oral Health Clinic located in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. This position is responsible for patient care for a medically compromised population. The successful applicant will be joining a department committed to providing high-quality, contemporary dental education to undergraduate and graduate students and patient-centered care.
This position is eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus. This position may be eligible for a loan repayment program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform general dental procedures such as direct restorative, endodontics, periodontics, removable prosthodontics, and fixed prosthodontics.
Perform basic oral surgery procedures, such as single tooth extractions.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must possess a DMD, DDS, or equivalent degree
Eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
Preferred Qualifications
Prior clinical experience and/or experience in public health or hospital dentistry
Applicants with a background working with special patient populations such as public health service or Indian Health Services will receive priority among other applicants.
CAD/CAM dental experience
Completion of a General Practice Residency (GPR) or an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) preferred.
