Job Description

The Director of Talent Acquisition is responsible for managing all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization as well as providing strategic direction for the organization's Talent Acquisition department. In conjunction with the Sr. Director SWM and the HR Business Partners, this position will develop, expand and implement recruitment strategies focused on diversity, inclusion and the sourcing of top talent. The leader will be responsible for analyzing industry products and geographical trends in talent and be conversant with best practices for hiring process design, recruiting tools/ resources, sourcing techniques, employer brand development and leveraging data to adjust recruiting and talent acquisition strategies and establish and coordinate a diversity-focused recruitment program to identify potential applicants and create a talent pipeline for the institution.

Job Specific Duties:
*Assess & shape the TA function: Conduct a full audit of the TA function, inclusive of structure, talent, culture, process and technology. Identify skill gaps, inefficiencies, technology needs, and other pain points. Define the short/mid/long-term TA strategy and goals.
*Recruitment Marketing & Candidate Experience: Leveraging Social Media, digital/print collateral, career fairs, and community partnerships, tap into unique overlooked talent channels and cultivate memorable candidate connections with our employer brand that bolsters value proposition.
*Build partnerships with business/community leaders across a range of disciplines and geographies. Initiate and leverage external strategic partnerships - e.g. with universities and technical schools, trade associations, community organizations, government employment programs, etc.
*Partner with Marketing on a comprehensive Recruitment Marketing program to include on-line advertising, social media presence and contracted relationships with vendors such as Indeed and Linked In.
*Oversight of sourcing and selection strategies that support a highly qualified and diverse staff
*Track/plan for/attend job fairs. Overnight travel may be required.
*Work with hiring leaders to design, execute and monitor staffing plans based on market data, financial and competitive analysis.
*Responsible for monitoring, reporting and other associated tasks for all recruitment regulatory programs, which include Affirmative Action, EEO, OFCCP reporting etc.
*Consistency with employment processes to include offer letter templates, job posting templates etc.
*Monitor recruitment related policies and recommend changes as necessary

*Partner with HRIS for oversight and administration of the Applicant Tracking System, pre-employment assessments, and the exit interview process.
*Act as the main point of contact for the SWM team to work closely with HRIS and IT on issues, upgrades etc
*Conduct an RFP for new vendors as applicable.
*Monitor exit interview results and follow up as applicable.
*Coach and mentor recruiters, talent sources and pre-screening team members.
*Partner with HR Business Partners to analyze recruitment metrics.
*Act as a consultant for hard to fill positions, in-sourcing/out-sourcing and vendor selection for external recruitment agencies.
*Manage all recruitment related contracts via the Contracts Management system. This includes recruitment agencies, search firms, advertising and social media platforms.
* Owning the overall Talent Acquisition department's vision of being a result-driven department, the incumbent will be responsible for the continuous and sustainable improvement of their team's service offerings to its internal customers.
*Lead the design and facilitation of team training events.
*Leverage data/metrics to manage individual and overall team performance.
*Interview and hire talent that supports the advancement of the Talent Acquisition department.
*Demonstrates effective communication skills (verbal & documented) when establishing performance milestones, assigning tasks/duties, adherence to company values, policies and procedures.

Minimum Required: 
Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in human resources with at least eight (8) years in a talent acquisition role and at least five(5) years in a managerial role.
Previous experience working with ATS, talent management tools and on-line sourcing.
Preferred:
Recruitment experience in a healthcare setting.
Project management experience.
Prior experience administering EEO and/or Affirmative Action programs

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications,
Business or related field

Master’s Degree preferred. 

PHR or SHRM certification is required.
