Summary
The Department of Biology at Saint Xavier University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track position in Microbiology.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Teach Microbiology and the general biology sequence courses
Provide service to the department
Provide undergraduate academic advising
Engage undergraduate students in research while maintaining a scholarship agenda
Qualifications
Doctorate in a microbiology program; ABD applicants will be considered, contingent on a successful doctoral defense prior to August 2024
Ability to develop courses in their specialty
Evidence of effective teaching
Evidence of ability or potential to engage undergraduate students in research
Willingness and ability to support the Mission of Saint Xavier University and the Mercy Tradition's value of service to others (https://www.sxu.edu/about/mission.asp).
Be legally able to work in the United States.
