The Temporary Part - Time Project Manger I position will assist with the KY COMPETES (defense industry research) project by analyzing interview data from defense industry stakeholders. The Project manager will be responsible for analyzing interview data to identify trends,patterns,and insights related to legal and policy issues within the defense industry. The role requires expertise in legal policy and procedure in government contracting. This is a temporary position lasting approximately 9 months,from June 2024 to February 2025.
Responsibilities:
Analyze interview data to identify key findings,trends,and policy recommendations.
Deliver a white paper summarizing initial findings and recommendations by mid-July 2024.
Provide periodic updates on evolving insights as additional interviews are conducted throughout the summer.
(Optional) Participate as a panel expert in a focus group on a mutually agreeable topic related to the defense industry (subject to availability).
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate Degree
Three years work experience in military/veteran-specific organizations
Deliverables:
White Paper (due mid-July 2024):A concise report outlining key findings,trends,and initial policy recommendations based on the initial interview data.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
