Job Description

Summary

Intern will complete human subjects research required training and be trained with hands on experience in the laboratory and clinical setting.

Job Purpose

Provides temporary administrative or laboratory support to a department while gaining practical work experience.

Job Duties

  • Learns about analysis and reporting of clinical and translational genetics research.
  • Participates in IRB protocol preparation.
  • Helps with and observe recruiting and consenting participants for research and with clinical data, and applicable sample collection and results interpretation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be enrolled in high school or be a high school graduate (or equivalent secondary education) or enrolled in an institution of higher education.
