Summary

The Department of Ophthalmology at Baylor College is Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an open Assistant Coordinator, Clinical Research position.  This position will provide support in the clinical research of Dr. Mitchel Weikert.

Job Duties

  • Perform diagnostic measurements on cataract, refractive, and cornea patients, including:
    • Wavefront aberrations
    • Corneal topography/tomography
    • Optical biometry
    • Corneal pachymetry
    • Retina & optic nerve optical coherence tomography
    • Manifest refractions

  • Collect and organize data for analysis:
    • Excel
    • Statistical analysis software

  • Ocular modeling via ray tracing software
    • Zemax

  • Draft manuscripts for presentation at research meetings

  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • No experience required.
