Job Description

Examples of Work Performed
Provides operational, administrative, and fiscal support for the department.
Collects data and prepares various reports for internal and external use.
Monitors accounts and assists in departmental budget planning, preparation, and compliance.
Serves as a liaison to Procurement, Accounting, and Human Resources.
Provides guidance and supervision to assigned student workers.
Coordinates and processes various administrative forms for purchasing, travel, SAP, facilities, and employment.
Implements internal processes and assists with making recommendations for continuous improvement.
Oversees departmental filing system and provides necessary documentation for both internal and external use.
Schedules and coordinates calendars for meetings, events, and other departmental activities.
Updates and maintains the departmental website.
Resolves discrepancies with accounting records.
Coordinates the department’s fleet of vehicles and prepares reports as required.
Schedules classroom use and provides logistical support for conferences, special events, and other related activities.
Arranges and assists with the onboarding of new employees.
Performs similar or related duties as assigned or required.
Essential Functions
These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following. Additional essential functions may be identified and included by the hiring department.

Coordinates the daily operations and fiscal affairs of the department.
Monitors departmental budget.
Coordinates conferences, seminars, and other events associated with the department.
Identifies issues in operational processes and ensures they are resolved.

Minimum Education/Experience
Education:
Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university.


AND


Experience:
Two (2) years of experience related to above described duties.
